Loving mother of Prasanna, Marie, Sobani and Sujeeva. Mother in law of Geetha, Mario Saparamado and Maljini. Sister of late Dorothy, Majorie and Patrick Senaratne. Beloved grandmothe­r of Rudy, Maritana, Samantha, Maria, Alexandra, Sarala, Prasanga, Anoushka and Senuri. Cortege leaves the residence No. 482/2, Wettasinha Gardens, Kotte Road, Pita Kotte at 3.00p.m. for burial at the General Cemetery Borella (R.C. Section) on the 8th of May at 4 p.m. Remains will lie at 482/2, Wettasinha Gardens, Kotte Road, Pita Kotte from the 7th of May. STM 126716

Rev. Fr. Kurukulaso­oriya Augustine Nicholas Fernando, of the Archdioces­e of Colombo, expired on Thursday the 04th of May 2023. He is the beloved son of the late Mr. K. George Fernando and late Mrs. K. Mary Theresa Fernando. The remains of Rev. Fr. Augustine Nicholas Fernando will lie in state at Velankanni Church, Chekku Street, Colombo 13 until 10.00 a.m. on Friday, the 05th of May and thereafter will be transferre­d to St. Nicholas' Church, Munnakkara, Negombo. From Saturday, the 06th of May at 6.00 p.m. to Sunday, the 07th of May at 10.00 a.m., the body will lie at his residence and will be taken to the Holy Cross Church, Siriwarden­a Place, Munnakkara, Negombo. The Funeral will be held on Sunday, the 07th of May. The requiem Mass will be at 3.00 p.m. followed by burial at the Holy Cross Church Cemetery at Siriwarden­a Place, Munnakkara, Negombo.
