Rihanna hits back at fat shamers

-

USA - Rihanna has delivered a wickedly comic riposte to the haters who have been saying she’s gained weight after being snapped in oversized clothes.

The singer, 29, delivered the fatal blow to haters just as she was spotted braless in a seethrough pink top on the set of a music video in Hawaii.

The stunning star clapped back at body shamers on Instagram after one particular troll said she looked like she was “pushing 180” and wearing a “sumo suit” in pics from last month. Rih-Rih, who looked sensational in her brightly-coloured get-up on set, showed she has a very good sense of humour about negative chat about her body by posting a meme. Her meme shows side-by-side pics of US rapper Gucci Mane who famously lost a lot of weight, unveiling his new look last year. The message above the pics reads: “If you can’t handle me at my 2007 Gucci Mane you don’t deserve me at my 2017 Gucci Mane.” The hilarious post has gone down as storm, racking up almost 600k likes from fans already. And Rihanna’s choice of clothes on for new video, shot with collaborator DJ Khaled in Little Haiti, Miami, shows she’s very comfortable in her own skin. But Rihanna also hinted that she may also feel hurt by the sexist fat-shamer — who said she would only be pursued by “chubby chasers” — as the caption on the meme is a crying emoji. Chris “Spags” Spagnuolo, the blogger who sparked outrage with his comments on Rihanna’s weight, has now claims he’s being “cyber-bullied” by her fans. Still, it seems Rih herself has had the last word on this issue and doesn’t seem remotely bothered by the Rude Boy.
