Missing girl found

A 15-year-old girl from the Wanica District who had been reported missing was found at the house of an 18-year-old man. The girl often left her house without telling her mother. After the girl had left her house on Sunday, her mother did some digging and found out where her daughter was. After the police had been notified, a patrol car went by the suspect’s house and arrested him. The case has been handed over to the Juvenile Affairs Division of the Police Force Suriname. The girl has reportedly been referred to a gynaecologist.
