Surichange Bank director suspended

The director at the Surichange Bank NV, Ajay Surjbalisingh, has reportedly been suspended. “The Surichange Bank NV has decided to temporarily suspend the director as a result of difference of opinion regarding the implemented policy”, said the Surichange Bank in a press release. The shareholders made the decision in consultation with the board of directors. The bank assures its customers that the suspension would not have any impact on the daily operations. The bank is currently being run by the deputy director and the board of directors. Surichange Bank also announced that the current management team remains in contact with the Central Bank of Suriname.
