Four teenagers arrested over theft

Four teenagers were arrested over the theft of €25,000. They are being represente­d by the attorneys, Maureen Nibte and Chandra Algoe. One of the suspects who is 14 years of age has confessed to have stolen the money from his uncle. The 14-year-old boy claims that the other boys convinced him to commit theft. One of the 14-year-old boy’s accomplice­s lives under poor circumstan­ces so the boy decided to help him out. He took pity on his friend so he stole the money before handing it over to him. A portion of the money was used to buy paint, doors and building materials. The rest of the money was used to 3 guns, 4 mopeds, clothes and expensive sneakers. Only 2 guns have been recovered by the police.
