All COVID-19 measures tightened

-

The stay-at-home order from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. went into effect on December 22 while the number of people that can stand in a group has been reduced to 10 people. People are being asked to only leave the house when it is strictly necessary or in a case of medical emergency. All government offices except for the essential services have been closed until further notice.

All international commercial flights have also been put on hold while only repatriation flights will be carried out this week. Firms that require essential services can file a request at the government for chartered flights. Local flights within the nation’s borders can be carried out but will be closely monitored by the COVID-19 Outbreak Management Team.

Parties including house parties and other public events have been banned and all the permits for such events have been revoked. Only 10 people are allowed to attend funerals. All sports activities, contact sports, dance schools, fitness centers, gyms and other sports activities are forbidden until further notice.

Casinos, gambling offices, night clubs, bars, brothels, vacation resorts, public spaces for recreation, hair and beauty salons, barbershops, nail studios and other commercial businesses must remain closed until further notice. Restaurants and catering businesses are only allowed to provide takeout service. Only a limited number of people are allowed to enter the markets. Public transportation is still being allowed but people must stick to the COVID-19 protocols.
