Kenneth Amoksi gave a speech. After the attorney general, the Juspol minister and the police commissioner had left, the police union instructed the new police officers to remain on strike because the government had not kept its promise. The recruits were supposed to be sworn in while they were dressed in a police uniform but that did not happen. They were reportedly dressed in a blue t-shirt and blue jeans.
