No driving tests until further notice

Due to COVID-19 there will be no driving tests. Inspector Rachel Deekman, head of the Public Relations Office of the Police Force Suriname (KPS), pointed out that the freeze on driving tests will remain in effect until further notice. The decision to cancel all driving tests has been taken as part of the precautionary measures that were announced by the government. The government announced last week that it would tighten the measures in order to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19. Earlier this year all of the driving tests were cancelled after there was a drastic surge in the number of COVID-19-cases. After the situation became stable, the driving tests were resumed.
