COVID-19-deaths in Colombia top 42,000

BOGOTA -- Colombia reported 9,594 new COVID19-cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the nationwide tally to 1,594,497, health authorities said on Sunday. Meanwhile, 228 more deaths were reported, raising the nationwide death toll to 42,171, the authorities said, adding that 1,455,975 people have so far recovered from the disease. until Feb. 28, 2021, and adopted measures to help reactivate the economy.
