Entrepreneur says burglary is a huge blow

An entrepreneur whose business which is located along Ringweg-Noord was burglarized on Tuesday morning pointed out that “the burglary is a huge blow to him.” “It is a huge setback to be burglarized at the end of the year. The burglars made off with money, recorders, laptops and other items”.It is suspected that the burglary was committed around 3 a.m. When the employees showed up the next day they found out that burglars had visited their workplace. The firm has security cameras and an alarm system but the burglars made off with the recorders of the security cameras which means that the security footage is gone. The burglars used a ladder to climb up to a window which they forcibly opened before entering the building and going to the offices to steal money. The entrepreneur claimed that the money was intended for investments. Sources told Times of Suriname that three masked men burglarized the firm. The police have launched an investigation. The perpetrators are still at large.
