Garbage trucks back on the job

Various garbage companies have deployed their garbage trucks again. The garbage collection services are back on track now that the Ministry of Public Works has restructured the garbage collection system. All of the companies were given a 1-year contract that can’t be extended. After a year there will be an evaluation. If the ministry approves of the services of the contractor, the company will be given the opportunity to participate in the next round of call for tenders. Another goal of the 1-year contracts is to give everybody the opportunity to do this work. If a contractor fails to fulfill his task, the contract is terminated at once. The ministry will beef up inspections to keep an eye on these companies.
