Man shoots at woman and her brother

34-year-old Rudi T on Friday shot at a young woman and her brother before taking his own life. He had a relationship with the 23-yearold woman who lives along the Johannes Michelsweg. After they broke up, the man visited the woman to see his 7-month-old baby. He reportedly wanted to get back together but the woman refused. On Friday morning the man went to the woman’s house with his mother to talk things out. He started misbehaving when things did not go how he wanted them to go. His mother told him to leave and they got into their car. But the man exited the vehicle again and demanded to see his baby one last time. After the woman had given him the baby, the man pulled out a gun and shot at the woman who had a few grazes.

Her relatives came to her aid and managed to take the baby back. Rudi T ran to his car but his mother had also exited the car. One of the victim’s brothers tried to keep him from leaving. Rudi T responded by shooting at him. He put the car in reverse and drove out of the yard before parking it in the driveway. He exited the vehicle and walked towards the Indira Gandhiweg. When he spotted a police car, he went back inside the car and shot himself through his left ear. Rudi T and the two victims were rushed to the hospital.

The shooter died shortly after his arrival at the Emergency Room. The young woman and her brother are in stable condition. The police confiscated the shooter’s car, gun and bullets.
