t is not every day that a min­is­ter in­tro­duces him­self as a ded­i­cated hus­band and fa­ther, so guests were bound to be taken aback when Min­is­ter of Agriculture Jab­u­lani Mabuza clearly in­tro­duced him­self

Ias such on Thurs­day in a NAMBoard en­gage­ment ses­sion held at the Sum­mer­field Botan­i­cal Gar­dens.


As guests feasted on good­ies of the day, the min­is­ter de­clared his undy­ing love for his fam­ily and busi­ness.

That was be­fore he made a more sterner ad­dress to NAMBoard where he called on the paras­tatal to up its game.

Min­is­ter Mabuza, who was pre­vi­ously the Min­is­ter of Com­merce, In­dus­try and Trade takes over reins in the Min­istry of Agriculture from Moses Vi­lakati, who is now the Min­is­ter of Tourism.

In­tro­duc­ing him­self to the big play­ers in the agriculture in­dus­try, the min­is­ter said: “I would like to de­clare that I am a mar­ried man.

“I love my wife and chil­dren. I am also a busi­ness­man, and I love do­ing busi­ness,” he said.
