The Md­luli fam­ily of Masey­isini has paid the ul­ti­mate to­ken of ap­pre­ci­a­tion for their bride, Min­is­ter of Home Af­fairs, Princess Tsandzile.

The daugh­ter to King Sob­huza and Inkhosikati Gogo Mn­gome­tulu was hon­oured by the Md­luli fam­ily when it paid a herd of 140 cat­tle for her hand in mar­riage, a colour­ful af­fair which was held at Ludzidzini Royal Res­i­dence which con­tin­ues to­day.

The princess is wife to for­mer civil ser­vant and busi­ness man Musa Md­luli.

The herd was pre­sented be­fore the Royal House­hold and re­ceived by His Majesty King Mswati III as well as Her Majesty the Queen Mother.

In ac­cor­dance with Swazi cul­ture, the herd com­prised of 20 cat­tle in­tended as in­sula mnyem­beti, 20 lugege with the rest emab­heka.

The well at­tended event was graced by Emakhosikati, Balon­dolozi, Princess Tsandzile’s sib­lings Bant­fwabenkhosi, Emazinyane, Chiefs, min­is­ters of the crown, the Md­luli fam­ily as well as other guests from far and wide.

His Majesty King Mswati III joined by Emazinyane and Prince Ma­sit­sela as they dance with Musa Md­luli who paid lobola for his wife who is also min­is­ter for home af­fairs Princess Tsandzile dur­ing a colour­ful cer­e­mony held at Ludzidzini Royal Res­i­dence yes­ter­day.
