ALL EYES ON SWIM­MING DUO IN AUSC RE­GION 5 GAMES

STo­day (Sun­day) eyes will be on the swim­ming duo of Sithem­biso Mamba and Robyn Young, as they take to the pool to do what they do best. Mamba will be com­pet­ing in the 50m fly and 200m fly while Young will com­pete in the 100m back­stroke.

This will be dur­ing the on­go­ing African Union Sports Coun­cil (AUSC) Re­gion 5 Games that are on­go­ing in Gaborone, Botswana. Swazi­land Na­tional Sports and Re­cre­ation Coun­cil (SNSRC) Me­dia Of­fi­cer Du­misani Nti­wane who dou­bles up as Team Eswa­tini As­sis­tant Gen­eral Man­ager said yes­ter­day both swim­mers were in a great shape ahead of their com­pe­ti­tions. "Both swim­mers in­clud­ing their coach Wel­come Nh­la­batsi are con­fi­dent that they will do well. They look to be in great shape re­ally and we can only hope for the best," he said.

In foot­ball Eswa­tini boys will take on Zam­bia in a do or die bat­tle this af­ter­noon. Mean­while women’ soc­cer team was also due to play their sec­ond game of the tour­na­ment against South Africa yes­ter­day evening. Robyn Young Sithem­biso Mamba
