KING MSWATI III IM­PRESSED BY RAMASHKA AR­CHI­TECTS’ KM III VVIP WORK

Power wo­man in the con­struc­tion industry Elena Dlamini, who is the Di­rec­tor of the main ar­chi­tec­tural project to­gether with her pro­fes­sional team and main con­trac­tor, SBI-JV, showed an elated His Majesty King Mswati III the state-of-the-art VVIP build­ing.

HIS Majesty King Mswati III on Tues­day of­fi­cially opened the sta­teof-the-art VVIP Ter­mi­nal at the KM III In­ter­na­tional Air­port that was de­signed by Ramashka Ar­chi­tects.

The launch­ing of the build­ing which has also im­pressed vis­it­ing SADC del­e­gates was also wit­nessed by Her Majesty Indlovukazi, the royal fam­ily, Prime Min­is­ter Sibu­siso Dlamini and cab­i­net min­is­ters.

The top stan­dard build­ing was de­signed by a lo­cal com­pany, Ramashka Ar­chi­tects which is un­der the di­rec­tor­ship of Elena Dlamini. She is wife to diplo­mat Felizwe Dlamini. Upon ar­rival at the air­port, the King cut the rib­bon to mark the of­fi­cial open­ing of the build­ing.

He was then taken on a guided tour around the glit­ter­ing rest halls and con­fer­ence rooms by the di­rec­tor of the ar­chi­tect com­pany and other team mem­bers.

His Majesty was vis­i­bly im­pressed by the beauty of the struc­ture which meets world stan­dards.

The tour­ing of the struc­ture took at

least an hour as the King ad­mired the beau­ti­ful in­no­va­tion.

Mean­while, the beauty and stan­dard of the struc­ture has also im­pressed del­e­gates at­tend­ing the SADC Sum­mit who have landed at the same air­port.

Struc­ture

The com­ple­tion of the struc­ture is said to have taken the coun­try a step fur­ther to­wards at­tain­ing the 2022 Vi­sion. In an in­ter­view early this week, Elena said she was proud that the struc­ture will be en­joyed by gen­er­a­tions to come and by the fact that

her com­pany was re­spon­si­ble for such.

“It stands as a mon­u­ment of art that is equal to very few such build­ings for the same pur­pose in the world thus launch­ing Swazi­land closer to the first world plan the coun­try is gear­ing to,” the di­rec­tor of Ramashka Ar­chi­tects said.

“Bayethe Wena Waphakathi for recog­nis­ing and let­ting your peo­ple ex­press them­selves the best they know how. We are proud to in­spire young ar­chi­tects to work hard and ex­press them­selves too,” she added.
