28 people arrested for public indecency in Pigg’s Peak
IN just two days, First Action Security arrested 28 people for various petty crimes including urinating in public.
All of the arrests happened within the small town of Pigg’s Peak on Monday and Tuesday.
All the arrested individuals paid an admission of guilt fine of E20 each at the Pigg’s Peak Town Council.
Speaking to this publication yesterday, Pigg’s Peak Town Council Clerk/CEO Mzwandile Ndzinisa said all the arrests were in line with the Urban Government Regulations Act of 1969.
“In line with the Urban Government Regulations Act of 1969, the Pigg’s Peak Town Council through First Action Security Company has managed to arrest 28 members of the public for various offences that include public indecency or urinating, smoking, drinking alcohol in public, littering as well as selling items without a permit,” he said.
“The offenders paid a fine of E20 to the Pigg’s Peak Town Council and those who failed to pay were handed over to the police. A majority of the offenders did pay the fines,” he added.
Also speaking to this publication was Managing Director (MD) at First Action Security Lindokuhle Mnyamane who said that First Action Security was determined to continue their impressive growth since their inception in 2016.“First Action Security was established in 2016 right here in Pigg’s Peak. In June 2018 First Action Security won the tender to secure our home town of Pigg’s Peak. Currently, our company employs 28 locals and we are determined to grow” she said.
