Will you stay true to pop music or bring a new flavour to the table with your new material?

I’ve always loved Bruno Mars and how he mixes the genres. I don’t want to spoil too much but, the songs that I will be releasing will have a sprinkle of a few genres on top of the pop.

Are you ready to go back on tour?

I love my fans and I love performing, it’s so much fun and I feel so connected to them. Once performances start back up that’s going to be very exciting. It all started in Stockholm. Sweden really welcomed me with open arms before anyone did. That is where the song Sweet but Psycho went number one first.

What’s the one thing about your career that people don’t know?

People see me having a good time on Instagram, but what they don’t know is that I rarely party. I rarely drink. I am focused 99.9 percent of the time. I sacrificed having fun for six or seven years just to focus on my goal. I was focused on writing and sessions because I had a very strong vision. Let’s face it: there are billions of people that want the exact same thing, so you have to focus on what you want and you have to be consistent.
