Walid Raad

Born from the twin sources of horrific reality and lush fantasy, artist Walid Raad’s work spans his journey from Lebanon’s civil war to New York and the international art world. His work depicts the darkness of reality, but draws scenarios and dreams that shapeshift from the strange and uncanny to the magical. This exhibition collects his photos, sculptures, videos and other mixed media works.
