“Corner Club” opened up its doors in 2013 with a bang. Nowadays, Corner Club is running strong, and making a comeback to the top cocktail bars of Stockholm. Upon arrival, guests are kindly welcomed in by all staff members and are invited to make themselves at home by taking a seat. The staff at Corner Club serves hospitality above everything else, and works diligently to make sure anyone and everyone feels welcome and well taken care of. The bar works primarily with table service, allowing for plenty of time to find the perfect cocktail for each guest. Although the venue is small, it offers a few different styles of seating including a long sofa complete with small cocktail tables, tall tables with classic bar stools perfect for a quick drink or a tasty snack, and even a dining area that the Corner Club staff refers to as their “living room”. When it comes to what’s in the glass, Corner Club tends to keep it playful with a lively menu that features signature creations, classics and an alcohol free section that can entice even the most experienced drinker. Signature cocktails are comprised of high quality spirits, loads of housemade ingredients, fresh pressed citrus and large format ice. Every month, a new theme is introduced to the “Mixtape” section of the menu, and with a new theme, comes three new signatures. Conceptually, the bar tends to base new additions on seasonal ingredients and strives to work in a sustainable way, using every ingredient in multiple ways until it hits the bin. Corner Club also tends to organize a variety events, from guest bartenders to open mic nights, so that their return guests are always stimulated. Even on weekends, when the bar is full, Corner Club is calm, cool and collected: Miles away from the rowdy, crowded, and pretentious cocktail bars that are all too familiar.
