Totally Stockholm

Fontaines D.C.

-

It’s not the first time Irish post-punks Fontaines D.C. (the D.C. stands for Dublin City, for extra authenticity) have set foot in Stockholm, but it’s fair to say a lot has changed since they played Obaren back in early 2019. Since then, they’ve released two highly-regarded albums, debut Dogrel and follow-up A Hero’s Death, bagged a nomination for Best Rock album at the US Grammys and become known as one of the most exciting rock bands currently around. So their second show in the Swedish capital, in the larger Debaser Strand, is a much-bigger deal, with their wildly-anticipated new album Skinty Fia likely to get a healthy airing. Support comes from Just Mustard.
