Obaren on their way to big things, to another one that might do the same. Beverly Kills don’t come from quite as far away as Ireland, though Gothenburg is, y’know, still off to the west, but there certainly is a lot of buzz brewing about them. Their 2020 EP Elegance In A State Of Crisis isn’t just blessed with a nice title, but also contains some fine, intense indie that pairs a cinematic iciness with a strong sense of groove. New music is on the way, and you can catch them at Obaren live in April - if for nothing else, the ability to say you did when queuing to see them on a bigger stage in a few years.
