Everything about the boardgame Go — strategy, knowledge and development of Go players — are featured on the site, co-created by the Go Association of Thailand and CP All Plc.

The website has been developed to offer games for players, the new generations and the uninitiated who are interested in Go. For Go addicts, you can play 24 hours a day from anywhere.

The highlight of the thaigogenius website is that you can create your own profile (avatar), where more than 10 different characters are available, or create a background location. There also are several festivals such as St Valentine’s Day, Chinese New Year, Songkran, Loy Kratong, Halloween and New Year.

For players who win many times, they will earn game money based on their performance that can be used to buy pets (online, of course). This is the first Go online in Thailand for which the content was created for kids and youths with a modern and attractive look.

Players can save the games they have played and comment on other players online, or even see the game record of friends.

Having been set up for players of any age, the website has many Go teachers who create lessons. There is a private classroom where a username and password are required before joining. In the class, students and teachers can communicate via a Chat program. The Pre-Play command is for kids to test before joining the game.
