Clarification

The story titled ‘‘NSTDA backs carbon footprint labels’’, published on Sunday, wrongly stated that the National Science and Technology Development Agency will reward companies with low carbongenerating production processes by allowing them to endorse their product packaging with low-carbon labels.

In fact, the agency in charge of granting carbon labels is the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation, not the NSTDA. We regret the error.
