Elle Decoration Thailand has arrived at the final round of its annual design competition.

After months of whittling and workshops, the awards ceremony for ‘‘Elle Decoration Young Talent Design Project’’ will take place today at CentralWorld.

The project gives an opportunity to design students and young designers to hone their skills. Twenty finalists compete in the design of 76m2 space including a bedroom, living room, pantry and bathroom under this year’s theme ‘‘What Dreams May Come’’. The theme emphasises the use of the imagination to create a comfortable, practical, modern lifestyle.

The winning models — on a 1:10 scale — will be on show at Eden Zone, CentralWorld, until Sunday.

Before working on their design, the 20 finalists participated in a workshop supervised by celebrity architect Duangrit Bunnag.

The guest judges will be Popetorn Soonthornyanakij and Sirapan Wattanajinda.

The winner will receive a 50,000 baht cash prize, plus a return ticket and a two-week scholarship for a summer course at Domus Academy in Milan.
