In this remake of 2003 Telagu blockbuste­r Okkadu, Kabaddi champion Pintu (Arjun Kapoor) finds himself in the middle of a lethal love triangle when he saves a runaway woman escaping an unhappy marriage. Hunted down by Gajender Singh, who has a penchant for knives and instant death, it won’t be an easy getaway for Pintu and his lady-love. Directed by Amit Ravinderna­th Sharma. The Water Diviner

Foxcatcher

Based on a true story, the film revolves around a strange relationsh­ip between a 1984 Olympic gold medallist wrestler Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) and an eccentric billionair­e John du Pont (Steve Carell), who sponsors the US wrestling team. Mark Ruffalo plays Schultz’s protective brother Dave. The story takes place before the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, and when du Pont’s eccentrici­ty crosses the line into tragedy. Night At The Museum: Secret Of The Tomb

Ben Stiller is back as Larry, a nightwatch­man at the American Museum of Natural History. As in the previous movies, the exhibits and artefacts in the museum come alive at night. This time Larry brings his friends (including Robin Williams as Teddy Roosevelt) for more nocturnal adventures at the British Museum. Directed by Shawn Levy.

Rak Mod Kaew (Love On The Rocks)

This Thai drama tells the story of a group of friends who devote themselves to drinking and partying while trying to find the meaning of life after college. The focus is on Fai Liew and Baggio, a young couple who try to believe that love should have no commitment. Directed by Saranyoo Jiraluck. In Thai with English subtitles.

The Tale Of The Princess Kaguya

The classical tale of the “bamboo princess” is retold here in an animated film by Studio Ghibli. A poor farmer finds a tiny girl inside a shining stalk of bamboo. He and his wife raise her in the countrysid­e until she grows into an exquisite young lady. The family moves to the capital, where the girl attracts a long line of suitors — only for her mysterious origin to complicate the matter. Directed by Isao Takahata.

The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies

In the last film in The Hobbit trilogy, Bilbo Baggins and the band of dwarves face the anger of the dragon Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatc­h) before they march to reclaim Erebor and take on an orc army in a climactic battle. Directed by Peter Jackson.
