SPVI PCL is an Apple authorised reseller in Thailand and an associate company of IT CITY PCL. In general, SPVI engages in reselling of computer and other technology products. It offers personal computers, mobile communication and media devices, portable digital music players, related software, services, peripherals, networking solutions, and third-party digital content and applications. PC software, data storage devices, printers, speakers and headphones, batteries, and peripherals are also included in SPVI’s list of products. As an authorised reseller of Apple products in Thailand, the company sells and acts as a reseller of Apple products, including Mac, iPad, iPod, iPhone, Mac applications, and Apple accessories. To differentiate itself from other Apple resellers, SPVI operates the Apple retail market through iStudio by SPVI along with its full-scale Apple service centres, as well as service corners in IT CITY outlets. Smaller iBeat shops were installed in department stores to expand the variety of shopping experience for endusers. The latest SPVI’s move to fulfil the consumer’s retail market comes with the launch of Mobi kiosks on 10-20 square metre spaces. Mobi focuses on selling iOS Device equipment, including iPhone and iPad. Seeing the potential market for IT products in higher educational institutes, SPVI opened U-Stores in several universities. Now, the company operates nine U-Stores at seven leading universities, including Bangkok, ABAC, Mahidol, and Kasetsart Universitites. As the Apple brand has been closely involved with education since its inception, SPVI believes that most university students are potentially loyal customers of Apple products going forward. At U-Store, university students and instructors are able to purchase Apple products at an educational price. The right is limited to one purchase a year. SPVI is also active in the commercial market. Seeing that Apple products are extensively used in publishing, designing and advertising, SPVI has strengthened its relationship with newspapers, advertising and public relations agencies and other commercial enterprises. SPVI also operates three service centres or ‘Smart Bars’. Presently, the company has 23 Apple Corners in IT CITY outlets, nine U-Stores in seven universities, five iStudio, four iBeat, one iShop, and four mobi shops.
