Singapore’s Epicurean Market ‘bigger’ this year

-

Singapore’s annual Epicurean Market will return for the third consecutive year this August. The three-day food and wine extravaganza will be held on Aug 14-16 at Marina Bay Sands.

Spread across three expo halls in Sands Expo and Convention Center, the Epicurean Market will showcase the culinary talent of nine celebrity chef restaurants — Adrift, Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, CUT, db Bistro & Oyster Bar, Long Chim, Pizzeria and Osteria Mozza, Sky on 57, Spago by Wolfgang Puck and Waku Ghin.

The marketplace serves as the debut of Spago by Wolfgang Puck, in a sneak preview ahead of its official opening later this year on the 57th floor of the Sands SkyPark, Tower 2 at Marina Bay Sands. The flagship of Wolfgang Puck’s global empire, Spago is Puck’s second establishment in Marina Bay Sands (after CUT) and the restaurant’s first venture in Asia.

The three-day fair also features the Wine Zone, Fresh Food Market, The Bar, The Cheese Artisan, Swiss Butchery, Brewer’s Coffee and small batch spirits from Proof & Company. A key highlight this year is the new After Party on Aug 14-15 from 9pm-1am, as the Epicurean Market transforms into a night spot with international DJs spinning favourite tunes and The Bar offering handcrafted cocktails and bottle services from mixologists at the celebrity chef restaurants. Access to the After Party will be complimentary for all Epicurean Market visitors.

“Epicurean Market will be a bigger affair this year with new celebrity chef concepts by Wolfgang Puck and Gordon Ramsay,” said Tamir Shanel, vice-president of F&B, Marina Bay Sands. “Riding on the success of last year’s event, we are introducing a new late night experience with an After Party featuring outstanding music and drinks.”

Tickets are priced at S$28 (700 baht) per person for a three-day pass.

This includes a complimentary pair of Schott Zwiesel red wine glasses (worth S$38), access to the After Party and an exciting line-up of master classes by chefs and pastry chefs, food and drink demonstrations by sommeliers, wine producers, mixologists and various industry experts.

Tickets are available at Marina Bay Sands Box Offices, on the MarinaBay Sands Hotline (+65 6688 8826), on the Marina Bay Sands Website at www.marinabaysands.com, and SISTIC Sales Channels.
