Trailer feeds ‘Games’ fans hunger

Hunger Games stars Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth have unveiled a new trailer and poster for the dystopian franchise’s finale, due out in November.

The Katniss Everdeen actress and her hunky co-star appeared together at the Comic-Con pop culture festival in San Diego.

The series, adapted from the teenfriendly novels of Suzanne Collins, tells the story of Everdeen’s battle to survive in a reality TV-style life-anddeath game in a post-apocalyptic future state. In a case of life imitating art, the three-fingered anti-dictatorship salute from the films has been adopted in Thailand by those who oppose the military junta.

Fans at Comic-Con got the first look at a movie poster, showing Lawrence in a red leather costume seated on a white throne, as well as a trailer showing her character on the offensive.
