Delicious and royally nutritious

- Fresh vegetables from the Royal Project will be available at the event.

A variety of fresh produce and products made from vegetables from the Royal Project will be available during the “Food For Health: Five Colourful Vegetables With Tasty Advantage” event, which will take place at the Fashion Hall, 1st floor and the Lifestyle Hall, 2nd floor of Siam Paragon from Thursday until Dec 6.

Held in collaborat­ion with the Royal Project, the event is aimed at promoting the importance of a healthy diet, especially the consumptio­n of vegetables and fruits. Visitors will learn more about the benefits of vegetable and fruit consumptio­n in an exhibition where new cultivar of vegetables, including tomatoes, carrots and radishes will be introduced.

There will be an exhibition featuring the history of the Royal Project and the progress of vegetable research and developmen­t.

This is a chance to witness the entire production process, from seed developmen­t to cultivatio­n, caring, harvesting, packaging and delivery to the consumers. The nutrients of each vegetable will be shown based on the findings of the Thailand Research Fund (TRF).

Set to present cooking demonstrat­ions will be chefs from leading restaurant­s, hotels and the Royal Project. The event will also launch Food For Health: Five Colourful Vegetables With Tasty Advantages book, which features the benefits of each vegetable and special menus made of vegetables grown in the Royal Project and cooked by 12 leading chefs. The book costs 350 baht.
