In a huge surprise, Satun United chairman Samrit Liangprasit thought the ban was too harsh and said he would appeal. It will be an equally huge surprise if the ban is eased.

The Thai-language site www.govchannel.go.th links to most ministries and departments. On opening day, it contained 436 sets of data, 108 government applications and 2,574 services, as well as downloadable handbooks and charts showing how to apply for more.
