This hamper features a selection of items chosen for their exceptional quality and flavour, including Casa Leonardi Balsamico’s 100-year-old Gran Riserva Oro balsamic, a hand crafted, barrel aged vinegar. Each individually numbered bottle comes in an attractive gift-box, while the Cortijo De Suerte Alta Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a family estate bottled oil made from Picuda, Hojiblanca and Picual olives, redolent with hints of green apple and fresh-cut tomato and a subtly bitter-note finish. And from Australia comes Riversdale Farm’s Winter Vegetable Drizzle. Made for sprinkling over any type of root vegetables before roasting for perfect caramelization, it also adds a zesty touch to any sweet or savoury dish or can be mixed with sour cream for a delightful poultry sauce. With over a century of coffee-related experience, research and innovation, Italian brand Lavazza is known worldwide for its rich, flavourful blends. Made from Arabica beans, Lavazza Qualità Oro coffee combines a smooth, sophisticated flavour and a pleasingly intense aroma.
In collaboration with Doroteo Valez, Charcuterie/Spanish Cuisine Master and owner of Rico Rico, Gourmet Market presents the “Fiesta De Jamón Ibérico” hamper, a treasure trove of delicacies from Spain, a country known for a deep passion for food. Widely considered the world’s finest, Iberico Ham ( Jamón Ibérico) gets its unique, irresistible flavour and exquisite marbling from a 36-month curing process, as well as the use of free range Iberian pigs fed entirely on acorns and herbs. Manchego Cheese originated in Spain’s La Mancha region. Made from ewe’s milk, it is commonly aged in olive oil and features a deep-yellow rind and creamy white interior. With a buttery-nutty, slightly sour flavour and firm texture, Manchego is a good grating and melting cheese. A popular Christmastime confection, Turrón Soft Nougut is an almond variety made with appellation-protected Agramunt’s Nugat, while the Torrons Vicens breaks tradition by offering a crunchy-soft nougat variety.
Japanese Wagyu Beef expert and Vice President of M&W Wagyu, Mayuki Matsuo presents the “Kuro Ushi Japanese Beef” hamper, featuring Kuro-ushi Beef made from the Bizen Black cow. In the idyllic setting of the famed Kishimoto ranch in Japan’s Okayama Prefecture, Bizen Blacks are raised on a diet of wheat, soy, beans, corn, rapeseed, straw and bran fortified with calcium and vitamins, and fattened for six months longer than the usual 24-month period used for common commercial cattle. In Japan, gifting with Kuro-ushi beef is reserved for only the most esteemed recipients.
