Credit where it’s due

Robert Hitchcock’s comment on Dec 11 leaves me at a loss. I needed a tourist visa for a 69-day stay and there was no time for me to obtain one by post from the Royal Thai Embassy in London. I reside in Scotland so I went across to the Royal Thai Consulate in Glasgow and obtained a 60-day tourist visa with instructions to extend it at the office in Bangkok. This method of extension was confirmed by the Thai Immigration Police agent at the airport on arrival. Hats off to everyone involved.
