Robot battle

Members of the public are invited to witness the selection rounds of the “Seacon War of Steel” at the Fountain Court, 1st floor of Seacon Square, Srinakarin Road, today and tomorrow. This is the country’s first robot battle and will see 96 robots from 96 teams fighting in one-on-one knock-out battles. The winner of each round will move forward to the next battle and the last standing robot will be awarded a trophy from Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and a cash prize worth 300,000 baht. Only 16 successful teams will be competing on Dec 19 and eight of them will proceed to the semifinal and final rounds on Dec 20.
