PHOTOS FROM THE PRINCESS
A collection of 158 photographs taken by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn are displayed during the “Happiness That Long Life Brings” exhibition at the Exhibition Hall, 9th floor of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre until March 6.
Held in collaboration with the Royal Photographic Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage and Thai Beverage, the exhibition features large-sized photos taken during the Princess’s local and overseas trips from 2014 to 2015. Each photo contains her artistic value and the exhibition tells a story and portrays her perceptions and the stories about the respective venues.
Also on display is a video work featuring the Princess’s presentation on the photos and their concepts and stories.
The Princess has granted her photographs to be exhibited for public viewings since 1997. The exhibitions include “Saeng Kue See, See Kue Saeng (“Light Is The Colour And The Colour Is The Light”) in 1997, “Always Roaming With A Hungry Heart” in 1998, “Destinations” in 1999, “The Colour Of Life” in 2000, “Born To This World” in 2011, “Camera In Motion: A Global Perspective” in 2012, “Travelling Photos, Photos Travelling” in 2013 and “Clairvoyance” in 2014.
Copies of photo books with the same title as the exhibitions are also available at 900 baht. Proceeds will be presented to the Princess for charitable causes.
