TIME OF LOVE
A jewellery collection worth 200 million baht is inspired by affection
February being the month of love, it was an opportune moment for Beauty Gems to launch its latest diamond jewellery collection, “L’Amour Moments”, or Time of Love. The event took place at the Grand Hall, 3rd floor of Beauty Gems Centre. The atmosphere took on the form of a flower garden in spring. Joining the event were leading celebrities such as Khunying Kingkaew Uathavikul, Jarin Sumanont, Nuchanart Raweesangsoon, Yuwadee Liewpairat, Anucha Burapachaisri, Saovaluk Niyompanich, Danai Deerojanavong, ML Boonyanuch Kashemsanta Dulyachinda, Supanavit Eiamsakulrat, Park Osatananda, Intira Thanavisuth, Pornsake and Lalivan Karnchanachari.
On hand to welcome guests was the genial host, Suriyon Sriorathaikul, managing director of Beauty Gems Factory Co Ltd. Guests had the chance to view the beautiful jewellery pieces on display, before they were seated for the fashion show.
According to Mr Suriyon, the collection took two years to design and is worth 200 million baht. It was inspired by love — between couples, friends or family.
The collection comprises 12 sets, and follows the year’s trend for flower patterns as the main motif, linked with chains to represent the bond of love.
The highlight of the collection was a tiara decorated with 2,919 diamonds weighing 142 carats, valued at more than 10 million baht. Its outstanding feature was the innovative threein-one design which allows the piece to be switched from tiara to necklace or headband as desired.
Taking part in the fashion show were celebrity couples such as Teeradetch “Alek” Metavarayuth and Rinlanee “Joy” Sripen, Atichart “Aum” Chumnanont and his wife, Myria “Nat” Benedetti, Nattapohn “Taew” Tameeraks and her sweetheart, Ton Arch.
