In a Pokemon bubble

-

Re: “Cops launch ‘Pokemon’ blitz”, ( BP, Aug 22).

The Pokemon traffic police really do live in some sort of bubble, don’t they? They have decided to go after Pokemon players now. What about just going after people using their phones when they are driving? Of course, they can’t actually see drivers because for some unknown reason they permit people to completely black out their car windows with window tint so you could be doing pretty much anything in your car, legal or not, and they wouldn’t know. Windows are for looking through, not hiding behind. These smoked-out windows also encourage shameless driving as people can hide in their cars and cut people off. There are no consequences for their actions. I wonder how many accidents this causes. Drivers can’t even see at night combined with people who can’t remember to turn on their lights. KARL STANFORD road has the most atrocious jams. Walking is quicker than taking a bus. Other problems are minor.

The link between On Nut BTS station and Bearing Station on the Sukhumvit Line in 2011 turned out to be a success when those far-flung residents were brought closer to the city. My driver has since become a gardener because he’s not needed to drive me around.

Though not faultless, many times one thanks the BTS for providing this new form of transportation for all of us. The only wish I have is that that they would build escalators going up. SONGDEJ PRADITSMANONT
