Radisson Blu Plaza (02-302-3333) December: Punjab Grill introduces Sunday brunch, featuring a line-up of signature dishes from its barbecue station, chaat station and kulfi station among others. The meal is complement­ed by an Indo/jazz-singing duo. Priced at 1,300 baht per person. There is also a “come four pay three” promotion.

Every Friday and Saturday, Voila internatio­nal restaurant highlights a prime selection of fresh imported seafood in its buffet line. Price for the buffet is 1,950 baht net per person for food only.

Westin Grande Sukhumvit (02-207-8032) December: Kisso Japanese Restaurant introduces a special new menu prepared with highest quality wagyu beef from Saga prefecture. Highlighte­d dish is Saga shabu-shabu beef salad featuring flashcooke­d slices of beef on a bed of crispy lettuce and daikon radish and drizzled with tangy ponzu sauce. Price is 620 baht per dish.

Shangri-La Bangkok (02-236-7777) December: The Lobby Lounge introduces a new selection of delicacies for its Golden Birdcage afternoon tea. The set features premium savoury bites, including Rougie Foie Gras, Nova Scotia lump king crab on pink brioche and Tasmania Bay scallops with micro green honey mustard bacon chips, as well as meticulous­ly crafted desserts such as studded lemon-filled trumpet high heel, chocolate caramel fleur de sel and blackcurra­nt scones with a wide range of speciality teas by Dilmah. Priced at 1,198 baht for a two-person set.

So Sofitel Bangkok (02-624-0000) December: Park Society presents fivecourse festive dinner. The set consists of king crab and caviar starter; chilled salmon; scallop and sea grapes; beef steak with truffle; and The Earl of chocolate dessert. Price is 2,900 baht per person. Red Oven highlights an addition of fresh oysters from Australia, France, Japan and the United States in its buffet lines. Dinner buffet costs 1,300 per person, Sunday-Thursday, and 1,500 baht per person on Friday and Saturday. Weekend brunch buffet is priced at 1,950 baht per person.

U Sathorn Bangkok (02-119-4804) December: J’aime contempora­ry French restaurant recommends its new fivecourse French degustatio­n set lunch. The set includes the likes of spice-scented yellow snail infusion with green sponge cake and wasabi fondue; quail egg in a beet declinatio­n and crispy salad; beef and black garlic aspic consommé with leek confit in a walnut vinaigrett­e; medallion of cod fish in a traditiona­l cassoulet dress; duck duo with tomato-ginger tartare and Barigoule espuma, and lemon mousse and Italian basil sorbet. Price is 1,100 baht net per person.

The non-alcohol package that includes free flow beverages is priced at 2,999 baht per person; a sparkling wine package with free flow Prosecco, house wines, beers and house spirits costs 3,250 baht per person; and the vintage Champagne package with free flow Taittinger

Muse Bangkok (02-630-4000) December: Babette’s the Steakhouse introduces new Surf ‘n’ Turf menu. Highlights include Australian beef tenderloin with pan-seared Hokkaido scallops, crispy pancetta and green asparagus; roasted pork fillet and grilled black tiger prawns with potato chips, spring onions creamy garlic sauce; slow-cooked crispy pork belly with Alaskan king crab legs, braised bok choy and pepperonat­a salsa; grilled striploin steak with Canadian lobster and clarified butter; and pancetta-wrapped monkfish served on saffron risotto with caviar and squid ink foam. Prices for the dinner buffet are 1,150 baht per person (Sunday-Thursday) and 1,200 baht per person on Friday and Saturday.

Siam Kempinski Bangkok (02-162-9000) December: Brasserie Europa adds a new “English butcher BBQ grill” items to its Friday internatio­nal buffet dinner line-up. Selections range from prime meats and shellfish to be prepared à la minute. The English-styled dishes are offered among regular American, Australian and Argentinia­n prime cuts as well as a selection of chilled seafood. The Friday buffet dinner is priced at 2,200 baht per person including free-flow non-alcoholic beverages.

Featured items include Zuma’s signature spicy beef tenderloin with sweet soy; miso-marinated black cod wrapped in hoba leaf; and sliced yellow tail with chilli relish, ponzu and pickled garlic, as well as a wide range of grilled dishes from the Japanese robata and a line-up of modern sushi and sashimi. Complement­ing the food is a collection of Zuma’s cocktails.

Dhara Dhevi Chiang Mai (053-888-888) December: Farang Ses French restaurant features truffle-centric degustatio­n menu. Expect to find the likes of scallop ceviche style with green leaves salad and truffle; crispy grey sea bream covered with truffles, and spiced chocolate terrine. Price is 2,500 baht per person. Allegro trattoria highlights wood-fired baked pizza, house-made pasta and other classic Italian dishes.
