-

South Korean actor Chang-wook Ji will have the first fan meeting in Bangkok at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani, on Jan 21 from 5-7pm.

Presented by Thailand’s Feoh in collaboration with Korea’s Glorious Entertainment and HY Spotainment, the evening will be the first chance for Thai fans to get up close and personal with the war mercenary turned bodyguard-for-hire played by Chang-wook Ji in the recently-wrapped drama series The K2.

The 29-year-old actor was awarded Best Actor in a Daily Drama at the KBS Drama Awards for the 2010 Smile Again. Since then he has starred in many other hits, including the 2011 action historical drama Warrior Baek Dong-soo, which earned him a New Star Award from the SBS Drama Awards.

He played the main character in the historical drama Ki Hwanghoo ( Empress Ki), which also earned him Excellence Award, Actor in a Special Project Drama, from the 2013 MBC Drama Awards. He also won two awards and was nominated for another one in the 2014 KBS Drama Awards for his role in the action thriller Hilleo ( Healer).

This event will probably be the last time the young star comes to Thailand before joining the mandatory military service next year.

Tickets cost 1,800, 2,800, 3,800, 5,000 and 6,000 baht and can be purchased from www.feoh.co.th.
