Great soloists of Milal Missionary Choir will be performing a vocal concert entitled “The Highest Praise for His Highest” at Sala Sudasiri Sobha, Lat Phrao 41, this Sunday at 4pm.

Presented by the Gift of Life Foundation, the concert will feature a repertoire of beautiful music including Boberg’s How Great Thou Art, Mozart’s Exsultate Jubilate K165 and Bring Him Home From Les Miserables by Schoenberg.

It will be performed by tenor Dr Daniel Lee, who has been directing as the senior music director of the World Milal Missionary Choir since 2002; Randy Brooks, who is well-known for his role of Jesus in The Promise Musical; soprano Sookyung Ahn, who is a voice professor at the Seoul Arts College; piano pedagogue Yoonjung Hwang from Seoul; and multi instrumentalist Wallop Jearasatit, who has been a concert band teacher at Bangkok Patana International School since 2003.

Milal Missionary Choir has more than 600 members all over the world. They range from students to graduates of prominent music schools and colleges, who share the same passion for gospel and wish to spread it through music. The choir has brought “The Highest Praise for His Highest” concert to many countries worldwide.

Last year World Milal Missionary Choir, with over 200 members, visited Thailand and dedicated their time singing in many different communities throughout the country. During their tour, the choir was among the last choir groups who had the opportunity to sing privately for King Bhumibol at Siriraj Hospital.

Tickets cost 700 baht including reception after the concert. Proceeds will go towards the Gift of Life Foundation to help blood-disease patients in Thailand.
