Pullman Bangkok King Power will celebrate award-wining cuisines of three globally-renowned guest chefs from Wednesday to March 19.

The celebratio­n will showcase chef Gilles Reinhardt of three Michelin-starred L’Auberge Du Pont de Collonges (aka Paul Bocuse) in Lyon, France; chef Yung Chan of two Michelin-starred Sun Tung Lok restaurant in Hong Kong; and pastry chef Johanna Le Pape of the prestigiou­s Alain Ducasse Culinary School in Paris.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, guests will be treated to sublime Cantonese fare by Chinese chef Chan, who promises Bangkok the time-honoured culinary quality of the 48-year-old Hong Kong restaurant. Chan’s cuisine embodies culinary excellence with a contempora­ry twist and will be exhibited through a five-course set dinner, which is priced at 6,500 baht net per person (food only), or 7,700 baht per person with wine-pairing.

On Thursday, there will be a gala dinner, an eight-course collaborat­ion of the three internatio­nal master chefs.

French chef Reinhardt, who was awarded the prestigiou­s Meilleurs Ouvriers de France in 2004, one the highest achievemen­ts for a French chef, will illustrate the culinary legacy of the world-acclaimed restaurant Paul Bocuse. Since 1965 (Reinhardt took helm of its kitchen in 2000), the restaurant has never lost a single Michelin star, an impressive evidence of top-notch food and service.

His cuisine will be represente­d by signature dishes, including black melanospor­um crusted truffle soup; steamed spotted garoupa fillet with black fish roe, minced bean curd, ham, & egg yolk; cornfed poultry ballotine stuffed with duck liver, carrot and celeriac; and braised prime rib of beef with house gravy.

Reinhardt will be joined by Chan, who will create entrées such as Brittany lobster salad with celeriac and home-made mayonnaise flavoured with citrus; and king prawn with asparagus in XO chilli sauce.

The evening will wrap up with sweet delicacies by pastry wunderkind chef Johanna Le Pape, 2014’s pâtissier champion from the prestigiou­s Mondial des Arts Sucrés in Paris. Her signature fares to be showcased are praline and chocolate baba and passion and vanilla petit Gateau. The eight-course gala dinner is priced at 9,999 baht net person for food only.

For a more relaxed and fun-filled feast, the culinary perfection by the two French chefs is also available for lunch on March 19.

The Sunday brunch buffet provides Bangkok epicures a chance to sample some of the special creations by chef Reinhardt and pastry chef Le Pape. The brunch, which includes an extensive line-up of various other cuisines, is priced at 3,999 baht net per person. Children below the age of 12 eat free when accompanie­d by a paying adult.
