When women empower women
Women empower one another. A shoulder to cry on or better still a sympathetic ear is always welcomed by a fellow sister when life throws you a curve ball when you least expect it.
Residing in chaotic Bangkok, where people have little time to think of anyone but themselves, makes it all the more difficult to foster meaningful friendships.
Finding a forum where one can experience life-changing encounters for women by women, a sisterhood movement that offers participants a uniquely flexible approach to the balanced-wellness concept, is what the second edition of Festival du Féminin Bangkok, which runs from Friday to Saturday at the VIE Hotel, is all about.
Festival du Feminin is an internationally registered festival for women of every culture to experience awakening and empowerment in a safe and private environment, where they can take the time to better know themselves and one another.
There is a range of inspirational experiences awaiting participants to nurture every aspect of their being. The festival has become a growing global-awakening festival, bringing women together and empowering femininity, said event coordinator Sylvie Baradel.
The highlight of this year is the much-anticipated round-table discussion.
Five leading guest speakers, under the guidance of Sunansa Nithisawin, a young celebrity and motivational speaker, will share their thoughts and challenges on how to empower today’s Thai women to reach her full potential.
So why join? Well, simply because today’s woman finds it increasingly difficult to connect with her inner self given the hectic schedule she has juggling responsibilities as caregiver and career woman. Breaking down taboos connected with femininity is also addressed in the interactive workshops offered to participants.
Through 20 interactive body-mind workshops, a round-table discussion, an artsy evening and more, the Festival du Feminin weaves together a network of friendships, encounters and experiences, guided by renowned local and international facilitators that include midwives, jurists, engineers, coaches, therapists, dancers, jazz artists, martial-arts masters, business women and more. These feminine leaders will guide fellow participants in connecting with their inner selves, with one another and with the world.
