Hope Fair returns to help disadvantaged

-

The popular Hope Fair will return, bringing its joyful and relaxed atmosphere to Rembrandt Hotel, Sukhumvit 18, for one day shopping fun for families looking for good food and special gifts, on March 28 from 9am-3pm.

Once again more than 100 artisans, craft makers, chefs and delicatessen outlets will be presenting their goods exclusively selected for Hope Fair 2017. The vendors are selected for their history, their product lines and what they can offer the community.

Many of the products are homemade or handmade with purpose and passion. The food is mainly organic, healthy, natural and mostly direct from the source to the fair. Cosmetics and heath products made from natural ingredients will be available as well as wellness and healthy-lifestyle tips.

An assorted range of homeware embodying the artist’s passion and vision will also be on offer. Children will be catered to with a selection of educational games, trendy clothes, fun costumes and amusing activities.

All participating vendors donate to the Mercy Centre of Klong Toey, a shelter for street kids with five orphanages, a hospice, a home for mothers and children with HIV/Aids, and a serene haven in the slums.

The fair is also an opportunity to clean out your closets and bring to the event your donations of kids’ clothes, toys and shoes, as well as household products and clothes for adults along with anything else that could help children in the orphanage and adults in the Klong Toey community.

There is no admission fee. Visit www. facebook.com/hopefairbangkok or email hopefairbangkok@gmail.com.
