Women entrepreneurs to share strategies, wisdom
Forefront women leaders in government and private sectors will be speaking at the “Women Entrepreneurship Conference Bangkok 2017 (WECB2017)” at Bangkok University’s City campus, Rama IV, on Monday from 9am-5pm.
Organised by the Bangkok University School of Entrepreneurship and Management (Busem) and the Entrepreneurship Centre at the University of Cambridge, this is a three-day conference, with only the first day open to the public. Held with the aim to strengthen and share the best practices and knowledge of women entrepreneurship based on research and innovation, the conference will also bring together leading business researchers, Thai and international women entrepreneurs, and public and private stakeholders.
Topics will include women entrepreneurship in business, science, technology and innovation, as well as sustainable business models and strategies.
The event will also address the global issue of the gender gap in entrepreneurship by presenting novel research, and exchanging the experiences of local and international entrepreneurs. The line-up of both Thai and international distinguished guest speakers includes Minister of Science and Technology Dr Atchaka Sibunruang, Roongchat Boonyarat from Malee Sampran Thailand, Kamolwan Vipulakorn from Erawan Group Thailand and Dr Ulrike Guelich from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor project in Thailand.
There is no admission fee to the first day of the conference, and registration is required.
