YOUTH WORKSHOP:
ML Panadda Diskul, fourth right, deputy minister of education, presided over the FedEx Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge workshop hosted by FedEx and Junior Achievement. SUSTAINABILITY AND CREATIVITY:
Sirikul Laukaikul, director, and Ukrit Wongthongsalee, manager, of the Por Laew Dee project, introduced 20 entrepreneurs selected to join the Por Laew Dee The Creator 2 project, at the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre’s multipurpose room. The project supports role models in sustainable business based on the sufficiency economy and creative economy concepts. CHARITY CAMPAIGN:
Anawat Sangkhasap, senior vice-president of customer strategy, Robinson Department Store, launched the Robinson School Break campaign to help with cost-saving for the upcoming semester. Held at the department store in CentralPlaza Grand Rama 9, the event invited customers to donate used or new necessities to the Foundation for Slum Child Care and needy children in provinces where Robinson stores are located. ELDERLY SUPPORT:
Pol Gen Adul Sangsingkeo, minister of social development and human security, presented the Outstanding Organization Award in supporting the elderly to Centara Hotels & Resorts, represented by Pattara Jongcharoenkulchai, vice-president of human resources, on National Seniors Day 2017 at the Grand Diamond Ballroom, Impact Muangthong Thani.

CENTRE FUNDRAISING:
Prof Piyamitr Sritara, dean of Ramathibodi Hospital’s Faculty of Medicine and president of the Ramathibodi Foundation, organised a press conference to launch the Giving Love, Giving Heart, Endless Giving campaign and TV commercial to promote fundraising for the construction of Chakri Naruebodindra Medical Institute (CNMI).
