TRADITIONAL AND REFINED

-

Vacheron Constantin’s Traditionnelle collection draws on its heritage in watchmaking, which began in 1755. Applied to watchmaking since the 18th century, guilloche work remains the maison’s expertise, showcased in the refined motif on the dial of the Traditionnelle Minute Repeater Tourbillon.

The original aesthetics coupled with a technical feat in combining the two major horological complications results in the striking timepiece, which on demand and at a press on a single pusher, the gongs of the mechanism chime the hours, quarters and minutes.

The tourbillon, on the other hand, dances to the rhythm of the movement beating at a low frequency of 2.5Hz.

Fashioned in the shape of the emblematic Maltese cross, the tourbillon carriage features a hand-polished bar requiring around 11 hours of meticulous workmanship.

The 6 o’clock opening displays the carriage, which also houses the small seconds, whereas the hours and minutes hands are slightly offset towards the upper section of the dial.

Available in pink gold and platinum versions, the 44mm Traditionnelle Minute Repeater Tourbillon is driven by the in-house Calibre 2755 TMR with a 58-hour power-reserve, whose indication is unconventionally placed on the back of the watch instead of on the dial.

The sapphire crystal case-back reveals the calibre composed of 471 parts, with the handcrafted finishes meeting the highest watchmaking standards. The Hallmark of Geneva certified timepiece comes with a resonance holder that serves to amplify the sound and the harmony of the notes struck by the minute repeater.
