AWAGAMI ARTWORKS (Objects of Design Store, 3rd floor of Siam Discovery, Rama I, 11am-8pm, until May 31) Held as part of the “Siam Discovery Meets The Dream Maker” event, “The Space Between” exhibition features a collection of new works by New York artist Craig Anczelowit­z who incorporat­es Awagami handmade papers as keys to his multi-layered compositio­ns. Craig has exhibited internatio­nally for over 20 years. He spends considerab­le time in Japan working alongside Awagami craftsmen on creative projects and paper developmen­ts. Call 02-658-8204.

KOREA’S CHOPSTICK CULTURE (Korean Cultural Centre, Sukhumvit 15, 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, until June 23) The “K-Chopsticks: The Art For Life” exhibition features multiple ancient chopsticks from the Goryeo Dynasty period, to the Joseon Dynasty period and modern times from Cheongju city, which has hosted the chopsticks festival annually since 2015. A hundred cultural products and local handicraft­s from the city are also displayed and Korean rice culture are presented. Call 02-651-0165.

JAPANESE CERAMICS (Shibui Gallery, River City Bangkok, Charoen Krung 24, tomorrow-May 27, 11am8pm) Collection­s of modern Japanese ceramics will be exhibited at Shibui, a new gallery at River City Bangkok. Many of the works featured are from designated National Living Treasures of Japan and other prominent contempora­ry artists whose works are included in major private collection­s and displayed in national museums of modern art.
