MONDAY: Siam Commercial Bank Plc has partnered with the Federation of Thai SME to hold “SCB SME Fest: Fashion Health and Beauty”, an event aimed at upgrading competitiveness among Thai SMEs. Besides seminars, some 200 SME products will be sold at the fair, held until Friday at Mahisorn meeting hall at SCB headquarters on Ratchadaphisek Road. The Green @ Heart Networks has partnered with Royal Thai Air Force, Ying Charoen Market and Saphan Mai Community to hold the 2017 Environment Day to promote the Ying Charoen as a prototype for a flea market that does not use foam containers or plastic bags. The three-day event will feature activities from relevant parties such as Green Airforce, Green Community and workshops for the zero waste project, as well as a green fair selling eco-products. The event takes place at Anek Prasong Building at the Thai Air Force Club on Phahon Yothin Road.

THURSDAY: Asean Trucking Federation and Nishio Rent All Thailand Co will hold the 2nd Thailand International Truck Show 2017, starting today at the Hall 1-2 Impact Muang Thong Thani. The three-day show displays innovations in the truck industry and the latest development of Thailand’s infrastructure projects, especially land transport. There will also be seminars on “One Belt One Road: China-Asean Logistics and Economy Linkage”.

FRIDAY: The Tourism Council of Thailand signs an accord with the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (Public Organization) to upgrade the skill and knowledge of people working in the tourism industry. The signing will take place at the institute, Suntower Building on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road.

WEDNESDAY: State-owned Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM Thailand) is holding “EXIM Mobile Clinic”, a focus group seminar designed especially for SMEs and interested people in Chachoengsao province. The seminar, to be held at the Chachoengsao Commercial Office, will provide information on issues such as international trade management, currency and market conditions abroad. The Board of Trade of Thailand and the Thai Chamber of Commerce hold a seminar on the new excise tax, which will come into force on Sept 16. Deputy Finance Minister Wisudhi Srisuphan, together with legal experts, will explain the details and criteria of the act to businessmen at the Sukosol Hotel Bangkok.
