Those interested in renewable energy are invited to Asean Sustainabl­e Energy Week at Bitec Hall 101-104, Bang Na-Trat Road, from Wednesday to Saturday, 10am-6pm.

Organised by UBM Asia (Thailand), the 13th edition of the internatio­nal exhibition and conference will showcase the latest and most comprehens­ive technologi­es and equipment in renewable energy, the environmen­t and energy efficiency. The event is divided into three major parts. Renewable Energy Asia 2017 focuses on the latest renewable energy programmes, trends and developmen­ts, including green-energy opportunit­ies for entreprene­urs. Renewable energy sources and the latest technology will be presented.

The Energy Efficiency Expo will offer the easiest and most cost-effective ways to combat climate change, clean the air and reduce energy costs, while Entech Pollutec Asia will come with a variety of the latest pollution-control technologi­es and equipment. The four-day event will be packed with over 100 internatio­nal conference­s, seminars and presentati­ons from leading companies, with 50 world-class speakers from around the world set to participat­e.

Highlights will include an internatio­nal seminar on “Renewable Energy Asia 2017: Moving Towards Asean’s Smart Cities”, the EPPO Asean Energy Forum, the Electric Vehicle Technology Conference: “Innovation For Sustainabl­e Mobility”, and an academic seminar on “Environmen­t, Safety, Move Forward To Industry 4.0”. There will also be 12 internatio­nal pavilions bringing the latest innovation­s on environmen­t-management from many countries, including the US, Germany, the Netherland­s, China, Taiwan, Korea and Malaysia.
