5 The embassies of Israel and Mexico in co-operation with the National Gallery are hosting two art exhibitions. Outside Looking In by Maya Gelfman sees paintings made by the practice of intense artistic meditative ritual celebrating the spontaneous nature of art and life. It wishes to point a light on the inevitable circle of life: existence, process, struggle, sustenance, comprehension and release. Four Mexican artists are featured in Geographies, a collective exhibition of contemporary Mexican art, whose range goes from black and white photography to “concentric circles”. The artworks will be on display until July 30, at the National Gallery (Chao Fah Road).
