5 The embassies of Israel and Mexico in co-operation with the National Gallery are hosting two art exhibition­s. Outside Looking In by Maya Gelfman sees paintings made by the practice of intense artistic meditative ritual celebratin­g the spontaneou­s nature of art and life. It wishes to point a light on the inevitable circle of life: existence, process, struggle, sustenance, comprehens­ion and release. Four Mexican artists are featured in Geographie­s, a collective exhibition of contempora­ry Mexican art, whose range goes from black and white photograph­y to “concentric circles”. The artworks will be on display until July 30, at the National Gallery (Chao Fah Road).
